Message from the Head Teacher

Faringdon Junior School is a happy, vibrant and caring junior school for children aged 7-11.  We are part of the Faringdon Academy of Schools which includes Faringdon Infant School and Faringdon Community College plus a number of the local village schools.

We aim for our pupils to:

  • be highly motivated learners
  • embrace their learning through curiosity and creativity
  • be happy, value and respect themselves, others and their environment
  • achieve their individual potential in all areas of the curriculum
  • be equipped with life skills for the modern world
  • strive to give their best academically, emotionally, socially and spiritually.

Whilst our website will give you a flavour of Faringdon Junior School, we highly recommend coming to visit us so that you can see us in action.

We look forward to seeing you at FJS.

Vicky Sammon

Acting Headteacher
